Private Workshops: Hen Parties

Deposit

For hen party enquiries made more than a month prior to the date, we will ask you to pay a deposit. The exact amount depends on your date and the size of your group, ranging from £100 to £250. A deposit is taken so that we can hold this date and time slot for you. Deposits are non-refundable.

Payment

Approximately 2 weeks prior to the date, we will get in touch and ask you to confirm the final number of people joining the workshop. The final price will be based on this number. Once this number has been confirmed and once the final invoice has been paid, we cannot issue a refund for any cancellations. This is because we need to pre-order our materials and arrange our schedule around your workshop.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel due to circumstances beyond your control (e.g. trainstrikes, illness, lockdown), please get in touch with us via workshops@botaniqueworkshop.com as soon as possible. We might be able to reschedule your workshop. Please note that a rescheduling fee might apply.

Should we need to cancel due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. staff illness, lockdown), we will notify you of this as soon as possible, and refund you the full amount you had paid for the workshop. We will do our very best to find a suitable solution, whether rescheduling the workshop or offering DIY kits.

Safety

Please understand that you take part in all workshops at your own risk. It is your responsibility to use our equipment carefully and follow instructions given to you by the workshop leader. We cannot be held responsible for any injury caused as a result of partaking in one of our workshop. If an attendee is below the age of 18, they must be accompanied by an adult, and the adult must be responsible for them during the class.

Photography & social media coverage

If the workshop is hosted from our studio space, our social media manager might pop by to photograph some content of your workshop. She will always check with the group whether everyone is comfortable with this. Upon agreeing with this, you agree that some of these pictures and/or videos may be shared across our social channels and/or website to promote future events like yours.

Our studio: access & safety

Our “studio space” refers to a room we own in the converted church just opposite our shop. This room hosts approx. 14 people. Please note that the room is located on the first floor and there is no elevator access, so unfortunately the room is not wheelchair friendly. At the start of the workshop, our florist will talk you through our safety guidelines and what do do in case of a fire. We expect from you that you respect these guidelines.

Private Workshops: Corporate Events

Booking process

If you are interested in booking a corporate workshop or event with us, please email us at workshops@botaniqueworkshop.com, telling us a little bit more about your event, the number of attendees and the date and time slot. Our team will get back to your enquiry with a quote within 2-3 days. Once a date and time has been agreed, we will send over an invoice. Payment of this invoice will confirm your booking with us.

Payment

We will require a full payment upfront, ahead of the workshop or event. Payments can be made by bank transfer or by payment link, in the second case there will be a 3% credit card fee applied. The total price will depend on the total amount of people attending and will include a travel and setup fee if applicable. If, at the time of booking, the number of attendees is unknown, we will ask you to provide us with an estimate of the minimum number, or ask you to pay a deposit and confirm the exact number closer to the workshop date. Our quotes generally do not include VAT.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your workshop or event, please notify us as soon as possible, as we may be able to reschedule your workshop. Workshop payments are non-refundable, but we will always do our very best to find a suitable solution.

What we expect from you

If we are hosting the workshop from your space, e.g. your offices or a venue you have booked, we expect that you provide a table that’s spacious enough for each attendee to work at. We generally recommend a space of 50cm x 50cm per person. As we will be working with fresh products, some water might get spilled. Therefore we recommend choosing a room with a floor that’s easy to clean. Please note we cannot be held responsible for any water damage.

Photography and social media coverage

By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you agree that we may share some content on our social media channels, website or in promotional materials (e.g. booklets) to promote future events similar to yours. If you are not comfortable with us mentioning your business’ name and any content, please notify us of this.

By agreeing to our terms and conditions, you also agree that we can use your business’ name and logo across our website, social media and promotional materials as part of our ‘previous clients’ for future promotion. If you are not comfortable with this, please notify us via email.

Private Workshops: Corporate Wreath Workshops

Booking process

If you are interested in booking a corporate wreath workshop or event with us, please email us at workshops@botaniqueworkshop.com, mentioning the number of attendees, the location and your preferred date and time slot.

The total price will depend on the total number of people attending and will include a travel and setup fee if applicable. If, at the time of booking, the number of attendees is unknown, we will ask you to provide us with an estimate of the minimum number. Closer to the date, we will check with you whether this number is still accurate or whether more people are joining than originally agreed. Our quotes do not include VAT, unless specified otherwise.

Cancellations

Should you need to cancel your workshop or event or reduce the number of attendees originally agreed and paid for, please notify us as soon as possible. If we are notified at least 1 month in advance, we may be able to reschedule your workshop to a different slot, free of charge. After this notice period, there will be a £150 rescheduling fee. If we are not able to find a slot that works for both of us, we can provide wreath making kits for your attendees. For any last-minute cancellations, whether a full cancellation or a reduction in the number of people attending, we can provide wreath making kits on the condition that we are notified at least 48h prior to the workshop. Workshop payments are always non-refundable.

Group Workshops

Booking process

If you would like to book a ticket for our group workshops, please click here to see our upcoming classes. Adding a workshop ticket to your cart will bring you to our checkout page. Your confirmation email will serve as your ticket, there’s no need to print this. On the day, you might be asked for your name or email address, for us to check through our list of attendees.

Cancellations

If you can no longer make it to a workshop that you have booked a place for, please let us know as soon as possible. If you let us know at least 14 days prior to the workshop, we might be able to move you into another class that we have scheduled at no extra cost, or keep a credit for the full amount of the class to be redeemed at a later date. Please note that workshop payments are non-refundable.

If, as a result of circumstances out of our control such as staff illness or lockdown, a workshop is cancelled by us, we will do our utmost best to get in contact with you and make you aware of this instantly. We will reschedule the workshop for a later date which we will hold a place for you on. If you are unable to attend the workshop slot scheduled for a later date, we will refund you your ticket. Workshops are only ever cancelled in extreme circumstances that are beyond our control.

Safety

Please understand that you take part in all workshops at your own risk. It is your responsibility to use our equipment carefully and follow instructions given to you by the workshop leader. We cannot be held responsible for any injury caused as a result of partaking in one of our workshop. If you are below the age of 18 you must be accompanied by an adult, and the adult must be responsible for you during the class.

Timing

Please make sure you arrive 5 minutes prior to the start time of your workshop. A florist will meet you outside of our shop, and will then take you to our workshop studio just opposite the road. As your workshop is for a limited time (as specified when booking) and as we often have other bookings or projects to work on from our shop, it is not possible to stay in the studio after the specified time slot.

For any questions about workshops, please email Chloe at workshops@botaniqueworkshop.com.
