Meet Liv… charity shop hunting, filter coffee obsessive and secret Ibiza DJ
Meet Liv, the newest florist in the Botanique team! Liv brings serious energy wherever she goes - whether that's rummaging through vintage rails on Brick Lane or spinning tunes in Ibiza. One really good coffee and she's unstoppable.
Q: What’s your favourite way to spend a day off in London?
Treasure hunting! I love looking through charity shops along the kings road or thrifting through vintage shops on brick lane, and then a couple of pints in the pub with my mates in the afternoon and I’m a very happy gal.
Q: If you could only have one flower or plant in your home forever, what would it be - and why?
Such a hard choice!! I love them all! But I always love anything bright, fun and tropical! Anthuriums and orchids always do it for me, but lately I’ve been obsessed with coral charm peonies as we are in peony season!
Q: What’s a small joy or ritual that brightens your everyday?
A small ritual for me is drinking a really really decent filter coffee. One sip can transform my day from a 4 to a 10 instantly!
Q: What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
People might be surprised to learn that I’m an amateur dj!!! I have even played once in Ibiza! I had so much fun but couldn’t tell you if I was any good or not!
Q: Do you have a favourite maker or product in the Botanique shop right now?
My favourite product at Botanique at the moment has to be the cobalt blue candles and the little gold mirrors everywhere. They really do something for me!
Q: What’s one thing that drew you to joining Botanique?
The amazing team! The energy is always high and happy, and I l just love how supportive all the girls are of one another here. It was a huge draw for me wanting to jump on board.
Q: You’re in charge of the playlist in the shop - what’s your go-to song or artist?
Girl pop, 90’s, noughties, house, disco… I love it all. Anything I can sing along to basically, although I am very out of tune so feel sorry for those around me!
