Baby Pilea Peperomioides
Also known as Chinese Money Plant, the Pilea is fresh looking plant with rubber like leaves in the shape of big coins. Easy to care for and a tidy looking plant. The perfect ornament for a desk, counter top or anywhere really!
The Pilea Peperomioides comes in a plastic nursery pot as standard. You can add on a pot of your choice if you would like one; the Pilea Peperomioides works well in one of our hand thrown stoneware pots or a Bergs Julie pot in terracotta or grey.
The Pilea can be easily propagated - pluck out the baby and give to a friend, often called a friendship plant for this reason! So you can share your baby Pilea's with friends.
Can be bought either potted with green handpainted pot or unpotted in a standard nursey pot.
Plant care instructions and tips: Pilea peperomioides prefers lightly moist soil but, like many other houseplants, absolutely does not appreciate wet feet. This is something that should be kept in mind while planting it.
As with all plants, the amount of water your Pilea needs depends on the amount of light it’s getting, but watering once a week during Wintertime and twice a week during Summer should be a good place to start.
