Meet Noriko ... she finds beauty in the details and loves knowing how things tick
Meet Noriko, a Botanique team member who finds beauty in the details, loves a podcast and has a knack for fixing things.

Q: What’s your favourite way to spend a day off in London?
Visiting libraries and walk around town looking for interesting architectural decorations such as crests.
Q: If you could only have one flower or plant in your home forever, what would it be - and why?
Ficus benghalensis 'Audrey', I got this years ago at Botanique and it tolerated numerous changes in the environment. Very strong and easy to look after. As it’s ficus, it can be trimmed to keep the size more contained if needed.
Q: What’s a small joy or ritual that brightens your everyday?
Listening to podcasts in the morning on the way to work especially comedy ones.
Q: What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I'm not an expert but love making and fixing things in general. Anything mechanical will fascinate me. Also I’m always happy to learn random tricks including paper crafts.
Q: Do you have a favourite maker or product in the Botanique shop right now?
Mr Peebles, beautiful illustration, and the pun’s cute, always looking forward to receiving them.
Q: What’s one thing you’ve learned from working at Botanique that you’ll carry with you?
Teamwork is probably the one. As lots of things could be going on at the same time, good teamwork is essential and I believe we have great team to achieve it. Often we need to adopt and work efficiently within given time and we help each other to do so.
Q:You’re in charge of the playlist in the shop - what’s your go-to song or artist?
I’m a heavy podcasts listener, so I don’t know much about musical artists but may be something ambient.
Noriko x
