Spring is in the Columbia Road Air

It’s been a few months now since we opened our second shop on Columbia Road and we can safely say we have settled into a lovely rhythm. Weekdays with our regulars who love to get their seasonal ‘florists pick’ bouquets to brighten up their homes….

…to our sunday shoppers taking advantage of our bouquet wrapping service.

Doors open, music low, florists at work and a treasure chest of artisan gifts - it's a feast for the senses every day of the week.

We also sold out of our tote bag style bouquet bags, which were designed and hand made by us. They went down so well that we have made a new batch, this time in a new material and colour. If you want to get one before they go, you have to grab them from the shop on Columbia Road - we don't sell them online, so it's a walk-in opportunity only!

Adding extra springs to our steps are the buckets of British-grown tulips from Smith & Munson which are lining the front - strong stems and colours that shift as they open. Ranunculus in soft, layered heads. Icelandic poppies with their paper-thin petals catching the light near the window.

I know we might still see some snow.. but, it's starting to feel a little fresher, a little lighter here as the spring flowers start rearing their little heads.

If you’ve not been down to the shop yet, then we’d love to see you. Why not make a Mothers Day trip on the 15th March, flowers in abundance, wrapped by our expert florists, pick a  cute artisan gift - and then enjoy your treasures with the mum figure in your life, over a cup of coffee or luscious lunch at a local cafe. It would be the perfect Mothers Day outing in London.
