Cheese Plant (Monstera Deliciosa) - Medium

Nicknamed the Swiss cheese plant, the Monstera Deliciosa is very on trend. This plant is one of the easiest around to care for and, thanks to its unique foliage. 

The Monstera Deliciosa comes in a plastic nursery pot as standard. You can add on a pot of your choice if you would like one; the Monstera works well in one of our handmade concrete pots or a Bergs Julie pot in terracotta or grey. 

Easy to care for? Yes, easy

It originates from the tropical rainforests of southern Mexico but adapts and positively thrives in the most un tropical of places - our homes. If you've the room, want an easy going, striking and interesting green plant to add to your collection or brighten up a stale boring corner of your home. 

Plant care instructions and tips: The Cheese plant enjoys gentle sunlight, and an average room temperature and its also a good idea to clean the leaves with a damp cloth regularly. A lover of humidity,  be sure to keep an eye out when temperatures hit one extreme or the other.

Avoid direct sunlight, as this will make his impressive leaves go yellow. Dark corners will also keep from growing to his full potential.

Keep an even level of moist soil, and the Monstera grows best when letting the soil dry a bit between watering. Feeding is essential if you want to see new, lush green leaves. We recommend normal strength fertiliser, and no more than once a month. 

This plant likes good light so place it close to a window that gets sun for at least a couple of hours a day.
