Echeveria Succulent

Sale price£6.00

Echeverias are popular with collectors of succulent plants for their compact rosette structure and are a great choice for any novice gardener as they are very easy to care for.

The plant comes in a plastic nursery pot as standard. You can add on a pot of your choice if you would like one; the string of hearts works well in one of our hand thrown stoneware pots of a Bergs Julie pot in terracotta or grey.

Succulents are a huge plant group but they all come with virtually the same care instructions. They’re very easy to keep but don’t over water, the plant will rot and die if you do!

Please not that the exact species of Echeveria we send you will vary. The ones in the photo are representative of the ones we stock.

Plant care instructions and tips: Water once a week in summer and once a month in winter but make sure you allow soil to dry between waterings, and store in bright/indirect light - do not store in the shade.

Water succulents from below by soaking the pot and allowing it to drain. This avoids getting their leaves wet, which can cause them to rot. Wait until the soil is completely dry before further watering, which generally translates as once every 4-5 days in the spring and summer and once every 10-14 days in the autumn and winter. Like most low-maintenance plants, these guys do not like to sit in water, so allow to drain completely after watering.

How easy is it to look after : Easy

We recommend Bergs Julie & Copenhagen size 10cm pot for this plant.
