Mother's Day Hand-Tied Bouquet Making Workshop
We believe the best gifts are those that you can experience together, and what better way to spend the day together than with a floristry workshop?! Master the art of flower arranging in our hand-tied bouquet making workshops, perfect for any flower enthusiast.
Join us on 10th March 2024 in our London workshop, where our talented expert florists will guide you through the ins and outs of bouquet making - from conditioning your stems to professionally hand-tying your bunch. We'll work with seasonal blooms to create a well-balanced, creative bouquet in our typical wildflower meadow style, ready for you to take home or gift to someone afterwards.
What you'll learn
- Your florist teacher will introduce you to the flowers available this particular season, colour palettes, stem length and foliage arranging. She'll teach you how to build a well-balanced and structured bouquet.
- You'll learn how florists condition the flowers' stems, and why this matters.
- You'll then start to arrange your bouquet, using the spiral technique. Your teacher will be on hand to guide you with tips and tricks along the way.
Once you're happy with your bouquet, the florist will teach you how to tie it off and how to professionally wrap and aqua-pack, so that it's ready to travel home. You can then proudly display your very own creation in a vase at home!
When & where
We have three workshop slots planned on Sunday 10th March 2024. The workshops will take place in our creative studio, just opposite our Exmouth Market shop. The workshop will last approx 2h, and we'll work in a group of 12 people. This is a great opportunity to meet new, lovely like-minded people who love flowers just as much as you do.
Please read our workshop policies here (cancellations & access info).
The workshop is up 2 flights of stairs, unfortunately step-free access isn't possible.
